Dr. Brian K. Ward Sr.
Senior Leader & Team Member
Dr. Brian K. Ward Sr. is a seasoned leader, veteran, and community advocate with more than 25 years of distinguished military service as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (E7).
Throughout his career, Dr. Ward has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and mentorship both during his military service and in civilian life. His leadership extends into the community, where he has served as Vice President of his Homeowners Association, helping to promote collaboration and neighborhood development.
Dr. Ward is deeply passionate about youth development and dedicates his time to mentoring young people as a youth basketball coach. He also volunteers at the VA Hospital, where he continues to support and uplift fellow veterans.
In addition to his community service, Dr. Ward is the CEO of Equal Resource Consulting, a human resources consulting firm focused on equitable workforce solutions and organizational effectiveness. Through his leadership, he successfully bridges military experience with community service and professional excellence.
Valerie S. Ward
Senior Leader & Team Member
Mrs. Valerie S. Ward is a senior military officer (O-4) who honorably served more than 25 years, distinguished by her leadership, discipline, and commitment to mission success. Throughout her career, she consistently mentored and developed others while upholding the highest professional standards.
Following her retirement from military service, Mrs. Ward continued her dedication to public service in the civilian sector. She currently serves as a Team Leader in the Human Resources Department of the United States Department of the Navy, where she supports workforce management and organizational effectiveness.
Mrs. Ward brings extensive leadership experience to human resources operations and exemplifies a successful transition from military to civilian leadership. Beyond her professional career, she remains actively engaged in her faith community and volunteers her time in service to others.
She is a fourth-generation member of her family to be born and raised in Flint, MI.
