ABOUT US
Who We Are
Built by veterans. Driven by community. Focused on Flint.
Our Story
The Flint Community Revitalization and Veteran Housing Initiative Inc. was founded by two disabled military veterans, each with over 25 years of honorable service. They returned from service to find the neighborhoods they grew up in crumbling—vacant homes, overgrown lots, and neighbors struggling to hold on.
Rather than accept that decline, they applied the same discipline, planning, and commitment to mission that defined their military careers. FCRVHI is the result: a structured, accountable approach to revitalizing Flint's neighborhoods while ensuring that fellow veterans have a stable place to call home.
This is not charity work done from a distance. This is boots on the ground, in the neighborhoods, doing the work.

Mission
To revitalize Flint, Michigan's neighborhoods by transforming vacant and blighted properties into quality housing and community resources, with a primary focus on providing supportive housing for veterans. We create pathways to stability through housing, workforce training, and community development.
Vision
A Flint where every neighborhood is vital, every veteran has a home, and every resident has the opportunity to build a stable future. We envision a city where community-led revitalization creates lasting economic growth and no one who served their country is left without shelter.
